***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

The guys that make the SlimBean rom for this phone have said they're working on some new, exciting and original features for their 4.4 SlimBean rom. I'm using SlimBean now so I'm just going wait for their 4.4 version.
 
I got the temptation to try kitkat. Back to my N4 for a bit!

Think i'll just wait for the over the air release of it and then try Paranoid Android when they sort it! Not actually put a ROM on my N4 yet, been more than happy with stock!

Shouldn't be too long for it really. I just got the itch because of being on my HTC One :D

Really like this more than I thought I would (I didn't want to lose the blue)
 
OK thanks. Is the lock screen different? Last leak I saw the camera had a dedicated icon on the (pattern) lock screen. Have they still got the multiple lock screen widget placeholders and the camera viewfinder placeholder thing?

There is now a dedicated button which you can swipe to open the camera, Works with pattern lock also. Personally I don't see the point of it when you could just swipe on the edge of the lock screen anyway.

Multiple lock screen widgets are still there they need to be activated from settings > security now.

There is also a arrow pointing up in the middle bottom of the lock screen for access to Google Now. I'll take a picture in a moment.

I do like how the album art shows up for Google music now it looks much better on the lock screen.

I'll give it a try now, I have been using the stock launcher! :)

Edit:- I can confirm that it does indeed lose the transparency same with apex too. Looks like launchers need an update!
 
Good choice in music there Matteysan :cool:

Sold my N4 to CEX sorry to see it go but it's making way for the N5 so it's all good.
