I’ve always updated as soon as they come out and in over ten years, I’ve not had a problem doing that.

Now I’ve said that, you watch... this update will destroy at least one of my Macs :D
 
Chrome has just been updated to work with dark mode, I hate it.

Type this into terminal if you want to disable it.

I have a Jurassic mac according to apple.. no Mojave for this hipster mac.. (2011)
 
You can update some unsupported ones to run a Mojave thanks to a guy I know called dosdude1 who does a patcher to put some of the old drivers back in. I'd steer clear if you're still on a mechanical hard drive though.
 
Installed 10.14.4 today, all good here, don't use google accounts in apple mail so can't comment on that, but I did read something on macrumours that Google have fixed the issue their end.
