I tried the Astra SP, i dare not try the included ones :/

il try the Futor on the weekend, I broke protocol today, i only shave once a week normally (Sun or Mon) but couldn't wait to try the Progress lol

Indeed! God knows where those blades have been!

At least with branded and well known blades you know they'll be clean.

I shave approx. 2 to 4 times a week depending, but been growing out a beard for the last two weeks as per the GF's request. A DE shaver still comes in handy for shaping it up on the cheeks and neck area though!

I recently added a Mach 3 with the 'Start' cartridges as a travel razor along with a can of Gillette goop and I must say its a decent shaver although I still prefer DE.

I just shave with whatever I fancy - skin doesn't seem too fussy now I'm in my late 20's. Teen's and early 20's was a nightmare on cartridge razors!

I've been trying to get along with Med prep blades but I just cant, I always seem to cut on my first pass which is only made worse on the second/third passes.

I guess I'm an Astra SP guy although the Israeli Reds that came in the sample pack were pretty good.

I've read a lot of good things about the Derby 'Premium' Black box blades which are supposed to be sharper than the usual Derby 'Green' box blades whilst retaining the 'milder' shave that the Greens are known for. They seem decently priced to boot.

I never did get on with Derby Green box blades though, just too blunt imho.
 
Used the Futor Clone yesterday

its a decent weighted razor but i had to use the Astra SP at number 4 to get any decent aggression where as number 2.5 on the progress was at the same level. for £9 it was worth a go but i think i prefer the Progress
 
Rightio! I've got probably just shy of 100 Feather blades. Who wants them?

My skin has decided to make a u-turn and hate these so I've gone for the Personna Platinums... But now I have loads of Feathers.

Whoever wants them just reply to me/send me a trust. I'll get them posted this weekend :)

How do you get away with that? If I go for a more aggresive combination than I use I end up with redness and skin iritation that could end this world. I'm shaving every day. I hate stubble and it sets my skin off really bad if I let it grow out.

Right now I'm shaving every evening without fail, good job I enjoy it :p

W Grain and then Against Grain. Gives a very close shave but 12hrs later it'll be growing :( Stupid genes

Not opened my first packet yet and I've been using DE for over 2 years.
If I get on with them I'll take you up on a couple of packs.

A Voskhod blade in a 40's solid baseplate Tech... you can't go wrong with a Voskhod blade in a 40's solid baseplate tech. :)

Sharp enough for dolphin-smooth shaves and so comfortable you can shave with the worlds worst hangovers without attracting sharks.
