*** THE OFFICIAL MAX PAYNE 3 THREAD ***

For me it was pricey at 50E, but it's also a method to show my support towards R* and hopefully, GTA 5 will land on PC with DX 11 goodness + way better textures etc., compared to GTA 4. :)

Yep.. separated at birth! :D

I haven't played the first two.. (can't think how I could have missed them!), so I can not compare.. but I love the character of Max in MP3 and his double act with Raul and the humorous banter.. I found the voice acting very high quality also.

Amazing game. You absolutely had to carry on playing the game in order to find out what was going to happen next. It's been a very long time since I have played a game as much as this for an extended period of time at least.

Game ran silky smooth all the way through too. The only thing that annoyed me greatly was the stupid cutscene predefined weapon choices. Towards the end of the game it was going to a pre-defined weapon which I had zero ammo for, for me to then get into cover quickly and select my assault rifle or equivalent.

Can't believe little things like that above made into the final game. Still a minor annoyance for a great title. 9/10 easily.
 
Completed this in the early afternoon. A great experience although as mentioned above, the cutscene weapon-switching was a serious problem late in the game.
