I think you are right tute, 550 easily for the 980. Would love for a hybrid to be released before the end of July so i can upgrade through EVGA. Love my TI's however new toys........

WTB Asus DirectCU (whatever number they choose) 1070!
A DirectCu Mini would be nice. Based on the power efficiency of cards such as the 670 and 970 it should be possible.

Really want to wait until next tier of Pascal but that VR perf...

Just looked at the specs for the 1070....its TDP is 150W!

So I may not need a hybrid 1080 based on that TDP for the 1070?
970 was around the same (145W?) so I think it should be possible. It won't be a launch day model though so would mean waiting.

Gota say if these are Nvidia High end GPUs, then AMD need to start also rolling out High end not mid range GPUs.

The 1080 is 180W TDP Bazz

Based on these initial figures I think I should have waited before purchasing the 980tis, oh well fingers crossed they are released before the end of July.
even if they dont push for performance yet, it's still ok but they need to reflect that on price and efficiency, and then do some serious work on Vega

AMD is june unconfirmed, and that isnt there high end either.. Ouch!
