** The Official Nvidia GeForce 'Pascal' Thread - for general gossip and discussions **

I had my mind set on waiting for the Ti version but i'm really tempted to get a 1080 at launch. Then just get the new x80 equivalents thereafter.

Whats the likelihood there will be no Ti version at all this time round? If AMD does not deliver anything competitive will nvidia release a Ti at all?

Lol. I love how kids these days got brain washed by one single piece of review.

It's like LTT fans. A single view on a single angle is enough for them to believe and make decisions, then argue anything other their side is wrong lol

So tell me how much faster is a 1070 over a 980ti ?

Oh wait...you can't :p

Straw man :p

No idea where this is coming from if aimed at me :D

They didn't give any indication of how much of the compute power would be available did they? In recent cards they've crippled the **** out of that to protect sales of their tesla cards.

Not now no, but,in say a month I fully intend to buy a 980ti and won't pay over £200, old tech loses money hand over fist when the next generation comes along.

Then you will be waiting a while. Even 780Ti's go for more than that currently. Some as high as £300

There's even 780s going for £150 on the bay. Good luck with buying a 980Ti for £200.
