So much talk and questions about the 1080... 1070 is surely the one to know about, and if it's a 980Ti beater or even nipping at its heels? That's going to be a big deal if so.

Not if you have a 980Ti.

The 1070 is the card I'm most Intrested in though

from what i am hearing seeing is that the pascal is maxwell on speed not 100% certain on this....
but it looks like the pascal core is looking more like a die shrink of maxell with a bit of new vr tech ,new data compression & boost 3 on ..i am sure the last two could be done in software ....oh and gddrx on the 80

so this makes me wonder what nvidia hold back on in there drivers on last gen so to make the new gen look good or as they call em features.

But i am no gpu engineering expert

what i am interested in is how they would stand up clock for clock with the 900's.... is it really all about clock speeds on these 10's

So the 1080 is absolutely going to smoke the gtx 980 ti. Crap just when I decided I wasn't going to sell. Any guesses on how much of a performance increase we are going to see tomorrow? I'm starting to think 30-40% at the least.
