** The Official Nvidia GeForce 'Pascal' Thread - for general gossip and discussions **

I want to some see custom card reviews.... I read that some custom cards might be out on the 27th? Or that could be "founders" cooler but from brands like EVGA etc?

I want to see the gigabyte xtreme etc. I have a feeling they will be good.

Are people seriously disappointed that the 1080 will not run ultra settings 4k 60fps... Do 30 mins research and it should be very obvious that even the 1080ti will struggle to run new games at 4k ultra 60fps. I read a comment below a review "I am seriously disappointed this card does not allow 4k ultra 60fps"
Who wants only a crappy 60fps in this day and age...:p

3440x1440 is bad enough for GPU requirements... and the difference between 60 to 70-80 looks huge to me.... but still I read through a lot of the reviews and so many comments at the bottom saying "disappointed this does not run 4k 60fps"

All I want is 60+ fps at 3440x1440 with high / very high settings and I will be happy, the 980ti is always about 25% too slow at good settings so the 1080 will be good enough as long as it can beat a 980ti at 1.4ghz by at least 25-30% which looks like it should do that.

Sorry if its been posted already but 1070 specs and stuff is out.

http://www.geforce.com/hardware/10series/geforce-gtx-1070

I actually want the 1070 to beat the 980ti now that my 980ti is gone, because that will mean I made a good decision and did not spend a month on a 5870 for nothing. But looking at the specs I do not think it will be better than a 980ti, probably better stock vs stock at 1080p but not more than that.

I used to be happy with 60 fps :D. Went to 144 never looked back. About 90-100fps is my minimum now. 60-85 is a big difference though. I notice just a big of a difference to 144 but that's just me :).

I think the higher the res there will be less of a chance it will beat a 980ti.

I notice the difference but I prefer 75fps at 3440x1440 vs 100fps at 2560x1400, I had a PG279Q and it was definitely faster and less laggy than the X34, but overall I still prefer the X34 because of the size. I agree that 60 looks bad compared to higher, I did not notice it but now I have used higher it looks jerky and anything under about 50 looks like a slideshow.

Do we have any specs on the 1070 anywhere? As thats the card i'm thinking of buying when it launches. Should i wait 48 hours after launch to see some reviews perhaps?

Upgrading from a 450 GTS, so it'll be a substantial upgrade either way.

There are specs on a previous page, no benchmark leaks yet though, Either way the 1070 will be a good upgrade for you.

Did you know the 1070 cooler will be "in plastic, it's fantastic!" :D
