Why are leavers so angry?

Spoken in person to two today and one comment on here, all three used bad language.

Quite a few of them live in bubbles of confirmation bias.
"I don't know anyone who will vote Remain!"
"OCuk forum has 60% to 40% for Leave and we predicted the last elections!"

Now they're angry because reality has just given them a couple of slaps.

This last point particularly intrigues me

Indeed, the last internal SIN data I saw had them estimated (Kippers) at 6-8% for Remain; top lads!

Some might say that it's a way of creating the classes and a clear way to set up a divide.

Others may say it's a way to brainwash people into trusting the "system".

Or it's just simply a way to better themselves, give them other views and allow them to progress with their lives.
