NEWS FLASH.

Not all Leavers were old and racist; not all Remainers were young and not-racist. The EU was good for some and bad for others: PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT. Any misfortune in the next ten years will automatically be blamed on the Leave camp by some, whether it is true or not, and most newspapers will promote the division to make money.

Wouldn't it be lovely if we saw this as a clean slate and got on with building a future we will all share.

Excellent post.

I wouldnt even mind the EURO anyway if we decided after a couple of decades of seeing the EU reform (probably wont), I honestly have no love of the Sterling, it would finally put an end to the multiple tender ******** in Scotland/England.

Why would you want the Euro? Shared currency between the many different economies is the reason why so many are struggling.

Having your own currency means that you can devalue it if need be to make your economy more competitive.

Saw some pics on UK media where idiots protest a democratic vote. Why do they always look young, unwashed, overweight, bad hair colours and wave mobile phones around?

One thing we can agree on.

I'm glad you said that.

It'll be a relief once the angry people from both the in and out camp forget this vote and start concentrating on our country.

One thing for sure, the people in the UK know their vote will make a difference now, no laws, cuts, financial burdens decisions that we couldn't vote for.

How are you going to have a clean slate when half the country didn't want this to happen? And how are these feel good slogans passing around now going to help when you just have less leverage and a worse economical position compared to two days ago?

Ultimately the facts are quite simple, businesses look at the UK less favourably than before and in turn this will hit a lot of people's pockets. Big businesses? Eh, whatever, they can simply move on and call it a cost of doing business. What about the small businesses though? They don't have a choice of just losing a few million on their multi-bn business, but rather whether it will still exist or not.

Why would there be a general election?
no one within the conservative party has suggested there would be anything of the sort.
Why would they commit political suicide?

They will sort an exit from Europe between now and electing their new leader, and plunder onwards until 2020 when we will have our next general election.
