I bought the Mindstorms NXT2 other day, having LOADS of fun with it (although am gonna need some more Technic for larger projects)

My missus bought that for my birthday last month and I too am having shed loads of fun with it as well. Never knew that Lego could be so much fun..

This and the Knights one posted earlier were my favourites as a kid, used to love spending hours changing the layout/windows etc, awesome times. Gonna dig them out and start building ASAP.

I remember this but I went for the fire and rescue station instead.

I have also noticed that the large Millenium Falcon lego sets are going for an absolute bomb on ebay!

And I still have it at 24 years of age! I loved it. Absolutely f'in' loved it. I think it was called the "Fire Control Centre". Got it for Xmas as a young lad and built it within 30 minutes! I also had a lego camper van that MUST be a collectors item now, it had a windsurfing kit and a little boat too:

I always wanted this too but my parents never got it!

Me too. I've also got the ice planet main ship (the one with two cockpits, that can be split into several parts). Still one of my favourite sets to this day.

The ones on that site were really my era. Growing up I remember owning a lego magazine full of kits and ideas and I used all my miscellaneous lego bricks to try and reconstruct them. All those on that web page were in the mag. I always wanted a boat of some description too but my parents never bought me one, despite my repeated asking.

I may also have had a moment of weakness tonight and bought an X-Wing fighter!

Wish I could own the massive Millenium Falcon though, but its too much £££.

EdGey, I remember those brown log walls, they were from the Western collection, either the sherrifs office or the general store. Think I had a bank aswell? Never got the fort though, always regretted that.

Tempted to show my daughter and son's lego collection as a boasting excersise but that would be going too far tbh! We have 3 large containers full. The biggest container is on wheels and has a crazy amount of lego in it lol!

The abolsute jem of all this lego has to be the space monorail trainset.

We have not built anything for a long time so maybe its time to fish all of it out. The last time I remember the lego being out I got involved and we built three large castles and then decided to smash the hell out of each other in some kind of war battle game which did not impress my wife lol
