Lego Res Q

I loved this collection - I had the whole collection back in the late 90s whilst living in New Zealand. I moved back to the UK in early 00s and couldn't find it anywhere! Did you get this here?

I loved these ones...

Had a major trip back to my childhood and rebuilt all mine and my brothers Space Lego models. I couldn't believe how few of the parts were missing, we even had all the original instructions bar 2, not bad seeing that it was last played with 20 years ago.

My 4 year old boy came downstairs this morning to find this lot on the Dining Room table....he was pretty chuffed :)

Good times :D

Haha I remember all that. I had the same stuff. Great times :)

I bought my son the Halo Warthog which he loved until 5 minute of playing resulted in bits falling off.

I have offered to ..... glue it together for him :eek::eek:.

I used to have lots of lego and then Technics came out but they were always so expensive.

Loved the racing car earlier in the thread. The crane and trucks also looked pretty good. Pricey though I would imagine.

Some fantastic lego sculptures out there like these from Lost Planet.

RimBlock, thats a megablocks 'hog, not lego :P hence the crapness :P

I have that model up on a shelf above my head :D. Absolutely the best I've ever owned.

Ok heads up Lego fans.
Lego are opening their London Store on the 18th November. According to the link there is going to be an opening weekend so there might be some deals - keep your eyes open :) :)

And back from the world of Megablocks. Hmmm Lego. :D

Just dug this photo out of the three most recent big ones I've done.

Pic is a few years old, they're all dismantled and in storage now. :(

I also still have this from when I was 11.

That looks awesome - I want it...

I still gain respite from my A-levels by messing around with technic - still an absolutely fantastic toy - was fun when I got it as a small child, and it's still fun now!

I thought about getting some more recently, but I can't see any kits that seem to have a good number of gears and stuff that I like, plus it seems so expensive... maybe I'll ask for http://technic.lego.com/en-us/Products/default.aspx#8043 for my 18th :D
-The mobile crane is cheaper and looks good too though.

Lego was my number toy right from my first Lego City police van with flashing lights and sound to various Technic sets in my teens...

The old style Technic was amazing - loved combining gears, diffs, levers, pneumatics to make all sorts of vehicles...however Lego City - I wanted a whole town built of Lego!

Always dreamed of owning the Technic classic test car, seaplane and JCB...I even recreated them with the parts I had...eventually got them secondhand in my twenties then had to sell them for the space (plus I felt a little to old to own them)

Still have a craving for it today! Most of the photos on here bring back good old memories of pouring over Lego catalogues....

That engine is awesome.

More impressive is the fact that the guy has a full set of build instructions and parts list. Won't mind a go at building one of those myself.

I have just spend half an hour deciding if it would be worth the time and money...

Theres a lot of parts (almost 3000)... It cant be cheap.

But it would be so awesome!
