***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Spent a while digging out all my Lego from when I was a kid which had been sat in my parents' loft for the last 20 or so years. Annoyingly there were quite a few random pieces missing but the majority was there but luckily I found a couple of handy sites that index all the pieces by set and also linked to online sellers that sold each bit. After a few quid's worth of spares and several hours this is what I ended up with:

There's two trains and a ton of track as well as that lot also :)

Got a bunch of more recent Technic sets built up somewhere as well. Just been good spending some time remembering what I'd had 20 years ago.

Wow i have THAT fire station, airport, garage, various houses, post office, little car workshop, stable, bin lorry, houses, and other stuff. I don't know if I ever got that hospital (though I do have one), and police station. I'll have to dig around at my parents'
 
After years of admiration, I ordered the Lego Star Wars X-Wing Starfighter (6212) today, cant wait! I plan to pick up the millenium falcon and a tie fighter next as well, although unsure which tie fighter as theres seems to be a couple to choose from!

Shame they're not the UCS editions, but they're ridiculously expensive...


Also planning to design my house in the lego designer app and see how much it comes out to actually build for real....

Was at my parents this weekend so sent my dad into the loft to get my Lego, for my daughter of course. Currently looking through the old catalogues online to ID the sets I had and downloading the instructions. :D:D:D

It's going to be a fun week!

I just to have that medieval castle thing, was probably one of my favourite sets. Although i remember a Lego City dock thing being well up there!

All mine got lost in a house fire, although i recall getting about £900 from the insurance company for it all!

And now my kid's mad on Lego (thankgod for Toy'r'us doing a 3 for 2 a couple of weeks ago! Crimbo and his birthday covered!)
