Stay puft cubedude. Loved the design of these but you cant buy them or get the instructions. Been playing around in the lego designer and copyed his designs and then hunt around for the pieces as you cant get them all on the lego site. Im waiting on some more parts to build some more i have designed so will post them up when i get them. If anyone wants the instructions just ask me nicely and i will send you them :). Got some really great ones in the works

Seriously, how do we not already have this thread?

I've noticed more and more, that a number of members are particularly interested in Lego, and the various different themes that it has. Plenty of members seem to already have a reasonable collection, and I seem to see at least one product a month in the 'Things we bought this month' thread.

I plan on getting home from Uni in a month or so, going straight into the loft and getting out all my Lego. :)

Now, the key sites is really:
Lego.com

Alongside that though, you have LegoLand.

As I see it, there are quite a few of the subsets of Lego that OcUK users would be interested in:
  • Lego Star Wars
  • Lego - DC Universe - Super Heroes
  • Lego Harry Potter
  • Lego Technic
  • Lego Racers
  • Lego MindStorms
  • Lego MarvelSuperheroes
  • Lego Power Functions.

Anyone who has been out of touch with Lego for a few years will remember a time though, when Lego wasn't so pre-made, and the limit of your lego making ability was your own imagination. This is still true today though! It's a great creative tool.

Perhaps one of the greatest achievements (beyond that at LegoLand) was that of James May when he built a Lego House in 'James May's Toy Stories'. This has unfortunately now been demolished...

So people, get posting!

I almost bought that lego camper-van today. :D

Had to keep my wallet welded shut in the lego store. The R2D2 was hard to resist too.

Ended up buying just a few minifigures. A lady with a monkey, a computer geek and a leprachaun were the random outcomes! :D

Was having a browse of some of the lego stuff in Argos recently and couldn't believe how expensive it was! Lego is awesome but by gosh is it dear.
