***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

****er, I keep seeing this thread and the SSD posted in it and wondering why I haven't bought one yet :\ Might be a purchase for the winter months I think............

Went into the loft today :)

Plenty of stuff needs rebuilding.

Most of it comes under the heading 'Lego Systems', which basically translates into, Lego old enough that the Lego company don't know what it is xD

I'll try and cover it..

From Left to Right:
Lego Systems: Box of Assorted Lego
4 Bags of Assorted Lego - got to work out what this all is
Next;
At the back
Lego Technics Massive model
Lego Remote Control car in front
Lego Bunk Bed :) I made it myself when I was like 6 as a model of my own bed when we got rid of it.
Next Across is a Naboo Fighter. (Possibly the old version)
Then Lego Space Craft of some kind
Lego Spybotics is next - Basically the old version of what was the Lego MindStorms. Programmable Lego.
Then a few Technics parts
Lego Anakin's PodRacer - back in my day, Anakin's and Sebular's came in separate boxes xD

Oh, and there's a Lego Spaceship - system thing as well :)

Annoyingly I don't seem to be able to find all the instruction manuals, but most of them certainly...

Really quite like the idea of some of the Lego Architecture stuff. Also am very much interested in the Lego Milenium Falcon, just the £100 price tag bugs me :(

I got a box for my Lego :D

My boy has bought Avengers 6869 with his birthday money.
Guess I'll be making that today or tomorrow!

Has anybody found a way yet to make the Lego site default to UK? It seems to always pick America, despite me being logged in and my region being set as UK...

Ordered something in the post that should be here in a few days :)

IT ARRIVED!

Well, it was a lot of pieces xD

But it is now finished, and sitting on my shelf. Took about a day. Generally speaking it was pretty good. The centre leg isn't so good though, but it's still not poor.

I'm thinking my next purchase will be Millennium Falcon or Tower Bridge :)

Only lego I've still got built after moving house. Collectors edition TIE Interceptor, AT-AT, few random star wars characters. Got quite a bit boxed up in storage.

The TIE Interceptor is easily my favourite ship, and I'd love to get one if it wasn't for the fact they use those awful purple/blue colours :\

Wow that's organised! I prefer the dump it all in one pile and annoy everyone with the searching nose approach.

A certain high street department store are selling the Millennium Falcon for £90.49 delivered right now.

That's £40 cheaper than Lego.co.uk

Looks like I'm going to be moving house within the next month or so, so I'm going to have to start dis-assembling my collection ready for transport
