My card took a hit today also! They also have the tie fighter for £38! My local Tesco have the X-Wing on discount on £38 too so it might be worth checking your local store.

I'm after the collectors edition R2D2 now..............
 
My local argos has the Tie Fighter for £35. Would've bought one if it wasn't for the fact I've already got one!

just got back from Legoloand Windsor, and they have a fantastic mini adventure going on with Star Wars, in there is the beggest Millenium Falcon i have ever seen, must be 1m front to back, complete with blue LED's at the back as the rocket engines.

got myself the tie fighter to play with :)
 
Anyone seen the new technic flagship model for 2012, 9398 - 4x4 Crawler / Truck? Its due Q3 and looks pretty smart, have the feeling I'll give in to temptation and grab one.
 
I noticed with the new Spiderman set coming out in August that Lego does not like to use gold and silver print I think it looks better with the shine which do you prefer?

I remember that set as a kid! Is it really 15 years old? Wow....

And yeah, I think metallic looks better. I've got an old R2D2 in metallic, and a new in matt. Metallic looks better.
