***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Got my first ever grown up Lego this weekend my wife got me the Mustang as an anniversary present. I’ve wanted it since I first saw it and so far I’m enjoying the build even if I do have to keep reminding my son it’s mine not his!
Finished the Mustang with a little help from my assistant who has filled it with ninjago snakes!

Great fun build reminded me of being a kid and it is a lovely model with some really nice details. Don’t think it is the start of a slippery slope for me though as very few of the other models appeal to me enough.

Of the sets that I have built in the last few years, the Mustang, the VW Bug, and the Camper Van are my favourites, I wasn't too enthused by the DB5 but I needed something to do, and the UCS Batmobile just was an amazing build.

Now what to build first ...

Just bought and built the Creator 500.
Still maintain Lego isn’t the best for cars, but it’s still a great model of a classic.
Couldn’t resist it really.
Nice to build as well, and a few tricky bits. Age is starting to catch up though I think.
Was fumbling all over the place :p

Just had text to say the Lego House architecture set I ordered is finally out for delivery today. Glad I ordered it as it seems to have gone from the lego store online a few weeks ago and it’s a long trip to Denmark to get one!

Just ordered the awing (small one) for my son and a Lego friends panda thing for my daughter, both £25 each. How good are Lego with back orders as the awing is saying it should be dispatched by the 3rd July, but the Lego friends is already on its way, I hoped they would have shipped them together.

My recent back order shipped two days early.
They always ship in stock items ASAP though, which I think is good in general.
