It's more expensive than the actual console!

Wonder if this is A One to increase heavily in value!

Nintendo stuff always hold their value, with the exception of the Wii console...those a 2 a penny, that's because there are 100 million of them out there, but give it time.

Lego + Nintendo, this will be one like the Falcon. I might get 2. One to keep in box and one to display.

Thinking the same.
It's going to sell out on day 1 isn't it

Tempted to grab the Ninendo to hold for value, imagine it won't be the most engaging build and i'd rather have a real NES on display tbh. I do get the nostalgia vibe though.

Yeah I kind of get what you mean. Im not sure where I'd put it really. And i can't think of anywhere it would fit in in the house.

I have the jurassic world (jurassic park) set and it looks amazing. But I'm not sure about this more I look at it

That is fantastic! so many amazing small details! I just ordered the Pirate ship island with double VIP points, but this will have to be the next model!

No idea where i will put it and i generally don't buy the expensive kits but the NES was my first console and i am super hyped for this, day one for me if i can nab a pre order.

I never liked that style of nes and the cartridge slot design was dreadful. Prefer my twin famicom massively.

It’s really strange because when I was in HK, my cousin had a Famicom, the red and white (or faded yellow!) one, he also had an disc drive that sits at the base for it too, my neighbour’s kids also had a famicom and I used to go over to play Bubble Bubble. My best friend in school at the time had a Western NES, I recall it looking different, grey and very square box. I thought it was a different console altogether. I was too young really to appreciate what brand or manufacturers were. So I seen both at a young age. God knows where my friend got his NES from though.

Japan mostly likely. Thats where the disk drive ca.e out and also never made it west. Nintendo did the same. design swap for the US version of the SNES thankfully the UK opted for the Jap console style,

I am rather excited by this lego set, looks very good and I can't wait to see what the internals of the console build and tv set are like, with their moving parts.

Not the disc drive, the grey box NES when in HK. I mean why would you get that when the famicom is everywhere? This is the late 80's too so no internet and we certainly didn't buy computer magazines.

When do lego sets go on sale? There's a lot of interest for this on the lego Facebook group.

Is it usually midnight?
