I don't see why it shouldn't as it will still authenticate your fingerprint.I wonder if the insceen fingerprint sensor will work for authentication in banking apps or even Google play.
Well not quite, as it was released April 2014. But yes, same battery. It is on it's last legs now though, as of about 3-4 months I've had to give it two charges a day. Been waiting for someone to make a smaller flagship/contender but to no avail Now I'll be stuck with a stupid 6"+ brick and no headphone jack /rant (I'll probably buy the 6T...)You've had a OP for 5+ years? Wow! same battery?
I don't see why not if those apps support fingerprint authentication currently.I wonder if the insceen fingerprint sensor will work for authentication in banking apps or even Google play.
Yeah it's something to do with being an optical fingerprint reader rather than the "proper" type. Apparently banks don't consider it safe but like you say that may change.I hope so. I read somewhere it's an in house design and software, and Android doesn't have an api for it yet. Same for the mate 20p.

I thought Google Pay disabled itself if you didn't have sufficient enough security on your phone? I definitely remember my S6 stopped working with Android pay because I disabled the fingerprint scanner. It's probably changed since.Well you don't actually need to use the fingerprint reader for Android Pay. Simply waking up the screen is all that is required. For banking apps I don't use the fingerprint reader in any event. I opt for either PIN or Voice recognition.

Contactless payments have a limit of £30 in the UK but you can make unlimited contactless payments each day. Android Pay allows you to make payments up to £100, but anything above the £30 limit will require you to enter a pattern, PIN or fingerprint.
Earlier the better. Apple have done something useful for once. Lol.It's now the 29th as Apple have announced they have something being released on the 30th, OP dont want to get overshadowed by them.

Wow. They say they will cover any expenses due to the change, such as people who have booked flights and tickets etc. What a nice touch. I'm actually pretty amazed by their honesty. It's now the 29th as Apple have announced they have something being released on the 30th, OP dont want to get overshadowed by them.
