**** The Official OnePlus 7/OnePlus 7 Pro Thread ****

Its 1g heavier than a Note 9 which is a 6.4" screen so the Oneplus is actually a good weight for it's size.

Note 9 is 3.1g per 0.1" screen size.
Pro 7 is 3.02g.

So it's actually pretty light for its screen size.

No problems with the weight. I went into it knowing it was a big phone and on the heavier side. Personal preference though I do have ape sized hands.

Not enamored with the cameras so far. Daylight it's decent but anything resembling low light and I might as well draw what I see by hand.

I do think Oneplus are limiting their own market share by not offering smaller versions of the OP7 and OP7P. Both are quite a bit bigger than the S10, and that's before even taking into account things like the the S10e, iPhone XS, etc. I can't imagine too many women buy Oneplus phones, and even though I'm a bloke with fairly large hands I got sick of the general bulkiness of my OnePlus. I love most things about their phones, but imo a 6" screen is plenty big enough in an all-screen phone.

I really wanted the 90hz aspect of the screen and the OnePlus software experience and I got myself quite excited at the prospect. In the end, I came to the realisation that I really enjoy being able to use my 5.8" iPhone XS comfortably with one hand. A phone with a better screen-to-body could likely offer the same experience at 6.1" and maybe we'll see something like this from OnePlus next year. As it is, I'm sticking with what I've got.

Ifd got nothing to do with that haha... Its just uncomfortable and when youre used to a lighter phone. There's lots of ergonomic reasons with a lighter phone.

I suspect most people support the bottom edge of their phones using their little finger, and the strain builds up after doing this for an extended period. When people complain about the weight of a phone it's not because it's difficult to bench press.

I always liked smaller phones, I loved my Iphone 4. I didnt want to jump to Iphone 6 because it was so much bigger but did it anyway and then I adapted to that size. I didnt want to jump onto Oneplus 6 because it was even larger than Iphone 6 yet specs were too appealing and my iphone was dated and not android. In the end I got used to the size of oneplus 6, it doesnt bother me at all.

Oneplus 7 size was a concern as well as it is even bigger than Oneplus 6 but I decided to go for it anyway for the amazing screen and you know what I do not mind the size at all and my hands are slightly below average. I had to shift my grip to reach the top on oneplus 6 so 7 being a bit larger doesnt change much for me.

I dont mind the weight as well although I can sense that it is heavier than oneplus 6.

Point is, touch and feel the phone, people adapt and it is not too huge, I still manage to do things with one hand.
