This link may have later version for gcam for Oneplus 7 Pro

It has the following versions:
FYI - nothing fancy needs to be done, just download it on the phone and install it. You can set it as default camera in settings, reboot the device and double tap power button and it will ask you to choose which camera app to use. This way gcam becomes default.

Anyone looking for a darkish icon pack and wallpaper these two go really well together:

App works but can't find a Gcam folder following his instructions. Think I'll just wait for the update.

Edit: got it working but the colours are really washed out. Just figured it out, turn HDR off and colour comes back.

I can't see where you have an option to turn if off. Where is it??

Found it!

The colours are still washed out on the GCam app.

That's a nice icon pack, thanks for the tip, using it now :D

Haven't had this bug yet but had the always up display bugging out in low light, tapping on the screen wont wake it up and had issues with my ear inputting stuff, the screen doesnt turn off properly. Both these issues are to do with the proximity sensor as I understand and for the first issue they said it should be fixed in the upcoming update but generally yeah, a lot of bugs.

Taken a few quick snaps and the camera is decent. No, it's not top of the line, but it's good enough.

If you want a great camera, get a pixel and put up with the bath tub shaped notch and a chin bigger than Craig David. Me, I'll stick with the OnePlus.

If i want better photos than the phone can take i will take my camera out with me. I'm happy with the Nexus 6p photos so as long as they're as good on the 7 Pro im happy.

You sound angry, there's really no need.

Frankly I don't much care about the camera (I just want a phone that takes photos) but if OnePlus want to play with the big boys (as they seem to), they need to work on their cameras. They might get away with it this year as they are still cheaper than Samsung and Apple but it's been clear for quite a number of years OnePlus (I assume on orders from OPPO) has been slowly but surely increasing their prices. I suspect they will match Apple and Samsung in a year or two and at that point unless their cameras match they're going to get destroyed.

Their cameras were acceptable when their phones were £400, now they're £600+, that's starting to not be true.

He didn't sound angry to me.

not sure what your getting at here really - I agree - he doesn't sound angry at all.

Lets not forget they are MILES away from Apple prices - Iphone Xs 256gb is £1149.....double the price of the OP7 Pro almost. People trying to say it's the same as S10+ bought from eglobal without any warranty - hardly a fair comparison.

The camera might not be the top of the class, but at it's price point, with all the other features the OP7 pro has brought to the table, it's miles ahead of any other phone in it's price range.

95% of the people buying the OP7 pro will be more than happy with the camera, and will have zero complaints about it - the only ones that aren't are the ones that shout the loudest about it and moan about it. So many negative comments about it, and a bulk of them comments are from people who don't even own/use the phone - it's simple keyboard warriors who have seen one video on youtube about it.

Zero issues with my phone - very happy with it.
