I'm really close to buying this, the only thing holding me back is i wouldn't be using it for BF4 as i love 144hz but would be using it for everything else including single player games.

Switching from using this most of the time to the 24" 1080p monitor when i want a game of BF4 would just feel too strange i think.

Also, how long is this price going to last?.

It's horses for courses for me...
The 40" 4K is being used for media and single player 4k games like GTAV, Batman, Tomb Raider Witcher etc... They look STUNNING!
My LG 34" curved ultra-wide 3440x1440p is for fun multiplayer stuff like Titanfall and 21:9 movies...
And I've still got a 27" 3D 144hz 1080p monitor for those BF4 games etc...

Think I've covered all my bases pretty well now!
Just need to SLI my TX

yeah but i spent £280 on my desk and not particularly keen on getting a new one, i think ill sell this monitor and stick to my superwide

Wow, 10 day turnaround. Not many going back to IPS after this I've noticed, but I suppose there is such a thing as too big for some setups.

I want this monitor but means swapping my 28" Acer G-Sync. So I am going to miss G-Sync and I am also wondering whether its going to be too big!

I have just ordered a 980ti so I am thinking Warcraft which I play the most should run with VSync on at 60fps 4k? Anyone running GTA V at 4k with a ti? Is it ok?

The main thing I use my PC for is photography, light gaming and general productivity. The VA panel should be better for these things and I love big screens

Keep the Acer imo, G-sync is worth it.
