My left thumb stick has started to peel. What number do I call to get the pad replaced?

they don't cover postage your honestly better off replacing the thumbstick yourself so long as you know how to use a screwdriver and reverse engineer the pad.

theres youtube videos out there that show you how to take it apart too.

if you replace it yourself there is no downtime apart from the time it takes you to change them.

sony lost my controller and i had to prove i sent it to them (luckily i sent recorded), i was also without a controller for roughly 2 weeks due to this.

I have a spare pad so that isn't a issue. I'd rather get it replaced properly as I don't want to risk opened the pad up and somehow damage it further. How much did it cost you to send the pad to Sony?

£3-£4 second class recorded.

there is no difference in service between first or second class apart from price, it's pretty stupid they should get rid of the class system.

I can get the M500 240GB SSD for £72 delivered.

do you reckon it's worthwhile doing so over my 500GB seagate hybrid drive?

i don't buy or play a lot various games, normally just stick to a handful every year. i could sell my current drive for around £45 most likely it's practically brand new.

£27 to reduce your storage and increase your load times by a second or two. Personally I don't think that is worthwhile, but it depends what you value. To me, that's another game you could almost buy! :p

Can't see the point, especially if you're not actually using it much.

Ps4 desperately needs a killer app and soon.

What do you consider a killer app? I wouldn't say the X1 has anything I'm bothered about and the PS4 is selling very well already. It already has a few decent games already, so much so that I don't have time to play everything I'd like to play. Also Second Son comes out on Friday if it's exclusives you want and also the best version of MGS. Combine that with the awesomeness that is PS+ I think the PS4 is safe :)

I think I'll leave it for another year, I will be getting an SSD at some point though because hybrids will get slower the more they fill up. After all it's only a 5400rpm drive with a very fast 8GB cache and BF4 alone is 47GB, I have used roughly 120GB on my PS4 so far but 40GB of that is because I got killzone for 85p in that glitch otherwise I would only be using 80GB.

I can see me getting close to filling a 240GB drive should a few other glitches or decent PSN plus games come out, etc.

I'll wait for a 360GB SSD for <£75 brand new delivered

I am using it a lot it's just that I don't play a HUGE variety of games.

Someone could have a PS4 and just play 1 game 24/7, does that mean them buying a 150GB SSD is pointless?
