Ah so it did arrive today, good going :)


Post at my house doesn't arrive until around 2pm ish so waiting for mgs and maybe infamous (never ordered from tesco before so not sure how quick they are), but all I know is the next few days are going to be awesome :D

Could see this coming, obvious it'll head to ps4, the ps4 has too big a lead which could only get bigger with how it's currently going for Sony.

Developers won't want to miss the chance of larger sales and as mentioned ms won't be able or willing to pony up the cash to keep it away from Sony platforms.

It was already reported on PSU.com that ea regrets not having titanfall on ps4. They have ran reports and Sony also reported to ea that potential lost sales from Sony platforms that that money from ms will not cover the potential lost revenue.

I'm also excited for not titanfall 2 but the new Sony vr tech. Looks awesome.

I ordered late on Tuesday night from Shopto, for £369.85 with free next day delivery. Last night I went through all the Peace Walker cutscenes in the game to remind myself of the story. Can't wait!

Lol... reviews say game is fun after 10+ hours still. I'm a replay and approach differently kinda guy.

Anyway yeh, I've been PS+ for years and a few months I've remembered to 'purchase' the free games on the web store.

I'm sure that Sandwich you had at lunch could have been dodgy, maybe gave you food poisoning.. probably best you go home so that you'll be better for tomorrow..

Been playing it on PC. The fighting towards the end is very frustrating. Constant barrage of bombs and stuff. I understand it's to make you move around. Other than that it's a pretty decent game yeh.

Got my Tesco Outlet console today. Box was a little worn and had been opened, everything inside looked immaculate and brand-new. Turned it on, set it up, and then it asks me if I want to log in as Marcus Roberts! Presumably it was an unwanted customer return or refurb, but none of the accessories have been used and the console itself was pristine.

Spoke to customer services and they offered me a partial refund so I've taken that. £266 for a PS4 can't be argued with really! If it goes wrong I'll just return it.

Now to just get some games...
 
We'll find out if the light bar dimming does indeed come since a tweet from someone at Sucker Punch said we'll have game preloading off the store for PS4 in April and that's going to need a firmware update, so that's pretty much when it's due.
 
Re: the sticks peeling. Im on something like my 10th replacement now (two controllers) - its shocking how bad it is. Send one off to be replaced -> use the previous replacement -> this one needs replacing -> use the previous replacement repeat.
They can't still be working through initial stock, there has got to be something much more epic fail about their process then a dodgy batch.

My DS4 started wearing away after about 4 hours of use, it's quite clearly worn on the left stick, but seems to be holding up now. Before the controller was getting covered in rubber flakes after each use, but I'm barely getting any now. Hope it's gone through the worst as I was worried about the whole thing breaking and peeling off like others have had.

10 x £3-£4 postage = cost of a new controller near enough

I got a precision screwdriver set off amazon and 20 thumbsticks off ebay for less than £15 altogether.

if they don't last me until the PS5 i'd be shocked.

it's to do with the amount of force used. Games like FIFA are really bad for it when it comes to me, I push the little stick harder in that game than I do any other.

I never had an issue with any of my PS3 controllers until I started playing fifa regularly.

the PS4 controllers rubber isn't built to the same standard, it's much softer.
