I've just received my third controller.
So much for the 'its a bad batch' theory - how big is this batch exactly.
 
Not had a problem with either of my controllers since launch. Both still look like new.

I wonder if they have had a faulty batch from a different factory or something ?

I would be well over that and my three kids have been using them as well. It does seem strange that some wear out really quick but others are still as new.

Something is not right somewhere.
 
+1 with regards to controllers being fine, I have two which I switch continually as one needs recharged and both show no signs of wear yet, is a strange one.

Lol, my finger nails are fine :p

Its deffo a defect in the batch (or batches) - my usage is -extremely- light (like 10 hours a week), it seems like they either wear very very quickly, or are fine.
 
Is there any big games coming out in feb. My console is basically a Netflix player. Im bored of KZ and im not really interested in getting knack. BF4 I have for pc so that leaves me with nothing.
I should have waited about 6 months as theres still great games coming out for ps3.

Assassins creed or Tomb raider ? Not much else until infamous in march.

Thief comes out Feb 28th, though it's a multi-plat so you may want to get it for PC (as it is cheaper)

Yeh I'm going to cancel my pre-order for it. I've got more than enough to go at with KZ and AC4, and then Don't Starve, and I still need to Platinum Resogun.

Oh and then Outlast will be out as well
 
Went in to get my ps4 reserved for the weekend in game and sure enough the 2 controllers on the demo unit had no rubber on the left pad from usage lol hope the new delivery of ps4s the other day are better as mine is new batch.

Careful now, if we talk about this issue too much we will be accused of making a big issue out of nothing again.
