Might be a good way to get DLNA like access on the PS4 - just need to use Plex Media Server and then use the PS4 web browser to logon to the server via a web interface. Not sure how good the quality will be but its a start. Sure you could use it on any device with a compatible web browser if it doesnt have native DLNA/Plex app...

Very strange you posted that, ive been looking at that and setting up plex this weekend. Still need to try it on the PS4 but i had it all set up.
 
Kinda disappointed that suspend and resume didn't make it into 1.6 (assuming it didn't as can't see anything about it) :(
Also apparently you can now mute the mic in the camera.

If the quality of the pads aren't made to a decent standard it makes me wonder if any issues with the actual console will arise.

Ps4 1.6 update tomorrow, mentions wireless headsets no info on any bug fixes they have in the update. Hope my Mixamp works with the PS chat cable as well, would rather not connect to the pad using a wire!

Really need a mode so you can play but appear offline to friends among other things.

Sony are still working on launching this in hundreds of countries including Japan.

system software updates aren't a priority atm, i'm sure they will come thick and fast after the Japan launch and the Japanese start complaining about missing features ;)
 
Ah I assumed it was the original Pulse headset? I've still got my one, pretty good! Somehow can't copy the link on my phone. In Amazon search for 'ps3 Pulse wireless headset.' Should come up.
 
My psn says im online even though my ps4 is off, so if ppl are sending me invites and im not replying, its not because im ignoring you but im actually not online.

To see go Settings - PSN - Account Information - Profile - Name.
You can see your proper name on your PSN but others will still see the PSN ID. You have to tell it to use your real name (if you want others to see it) as by default it wont. This wont affect what you see on screen so for example I see "My Name has earned the trophy xxxx" others will see "PSNI.D has earned trophy xxxx" which I gather is what you're after, proper name for you, PSN ID for friends.

Hi have tried this with no luck still have my name initials saying A S got X trophy ... A S played AC4 changed my name and still says that .... It's just annoying not a major prob just like to change it ... I know my PSN ID shows up on friends on what I have done
 
Is there 3 Sony wireless headsets in total that they are enabling?

1) Sony Wireless Stereo Headset (PS3) (2011) - PlayStation 3
2) Sony PlayStation 3 Pulse Wireless Stereo Headset (PS3) (2012)
And now a new "2.0" one?

From what I can see all of them need a USB dongle :(

I can't tell much difference in the specs of the existing 2. Anyone know the exact differences? I would want one where I could attach the 3.5mm cable for other devices.
