You can use an external USB drive to backup all the existing saves, downloads, and game data etc, be warned its slow...

And long as the new drive is not over 2 tb ( as larger drives don't play well with rest mode etc ) and is 9.5mm or thinner and a ssta 2.5 " then you're good to go..

argos has a 1tb with bloodborne for £299 which you can play and sell on or sell on as brand new

Samsung seem to be getting good recommendations -

You simply remove from the caddy and put into your PS4 job done. And you can use the caddy for the 500GB and use this for media with your PS4 or if you have and X1 then use it on your X1 as its USB 3.0.

Edit - I think thats the right one.

Could I back up the data into the Samsung HDD, then remove the caddy and put the drive in the PS4 and off I go? That would save using a 3rd HDD in the process for back up.

Seagate and Samsung are the same thing when it comes to hard drives.

The actual external drive you want is sold as a Seagate though. Best place to buy is probably still Argos who normally have it on offer.

I've gone with Amazon, this is the first time I've felt the want to pre-order a limited edition console (obviously I'm a huge Star Wars fan).

Are Amazon pretty good with this sort of thing usually?

I think the Darth Vader helmet works well, its sort of a lazy special edition mind. And I think a white storm trooper version is needed but that's me.

No idea on model version being used... You'd hope its the newer version truth told.
