One thing I wish they'd implement is a cursor in the user interface. I always thought Destiny's implementation of a big circular cursor that you can move with the thumbstick works brilliantly. Why not just have that in the UI so don't have to faff about highlighting different buttons until you reach the one you want?

It also now says that the length of the video clip may be shorter than the time you set depending on the resolution and quality of the recorded video... interesting wording given that there is no user control over either quality or resolution. I wonder if it suggests Neo/the next revision as being able to capture at 1080p / 60fps in Share.
 
When you download a game from the PSN, does anyone know where that data is coming from? Does Sony have datacentres in the UK or is it mainland Europe or USA/Japan? Anyone ever done a network sniff to find where they are?

Just wondering why I was "only" downloading at around 4MB/sec when I was expecting quicker. After some reading, it appears PSN might be capped at that rate by Sony. It could also be network congestion in the early evening, geographical location of datacentres, etc.

Did you think I was trying to find a way to download games for free or something?

Changing my DNS on the PS4 to use Google improved my download speeds, they're still cruddy but it's better than nothing. Your mileage may vary however :)
 
Switched on PS4 today and got a message saying for security I need to update my password. Then it says its sending an email that I need to go to on a PC and update the password.

But no email is coming through as of yet. And its not letting me access the PS store or play games until I do.

EDIT: Never mind. It was getting sent to my spam folder for some reason.

Can't find any information at all about CUH-2016A. Certainly looks legit at first glance but not sure what the CUH is for the Slimline.

That image and the gumtree link also just cropped up on /v/. I don't know what to think.

Looks believable to me. If it is, it doesn't look like UK stock because of all the Arabic on the box and the logos for non-UK streaming services on the back.

The CUH-2016A is listed on Indonesia sites, i'd say is looks more like a slight redesign/cheaper model. The PS4 is already slim, they have to call this the PS4 slightly slimmer :)
