The photos in that gumtree link do look pretty genuine.

However, theres a lot of people out there with too much time on their hands and cannot do anything more constructive than troll the internet with impressive looking fake box mockups.

We shall see.

EDIT: Considering hes not opening the box to show the actual console would indicate its fake. No one wants to see the box if theres a genuine slim console inside.

wow that is actually very small...

I'll keep my phat PS4 but looks like with the new NEO incoming this could be the entry level Playstation ? £199?

Can't get over how small it is, but its missing optical?
 
Unfortunately optical became defunct as soon as HDMI/DP came out

Very annoying for people that still use it (like me)

EDIT: BTW all I keep seeing is a RFID tag

Yeah its kinda ancient, it doesnt support HD compressed lossless audio and thats existed since at least before the PS3 Slim

Astro use optical as I assume its not encrypted. I cant wait for people to realise that their TVs optical outs in vast majority of cases only passes through 2.0

Considering how poorly built their mixamps are, this is probably a blessing in disguise. Hopefully theyll move to HDMI but I imagine thats still a mess of cables

TBH the state of sound support is a complete mess and has been for over a decade. I still dont understand why consoles dont natively support things like Dolby Headphone out of the box...

EDIT: I think this is just like the PS3 superslim, a cost-cutting SKU that replaces the PS4. I cant see anything that says it supports UHD, so that must be Neo-only?
