*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Ghost of Tsushima is my most anticipated game for the PS4 just by the description of it. Reminds me of tenchu but just on a much more huge scale. The developers talked about choices being one of the most important things about the game. I hope I can choose to stay as a ninja and choose that skill tree instead of say a samurai or whatever. Saw on the trailer the ninja throw a bomb taking the mongol out on the horse which for me is a big no. I want to kill them silently with pure stealth.

Looks amazing, don't think we will see it released this year though :(

It does indeed look amazing I just hope it turns out how I imagined it. The developers said that choice is one of the most important things about the game so I hope that was actually a proper truth and it ends up in the final product. I myself would love to stay in the shadows and be a ninja. Good old tenchu vibes about the game I am really excited about it.

Picked up a Pro in anticipation of Days Gone... really looking forward to that.

Picked up:

Wipeout Omega
Monster Hunter World
Street Fighter V
Tekken 7
Horizon Zero Dawn
Battlefront II
God of War
Crash Bandicoot
Shadow of the Colossus
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Is there anything awesome worth picking up?

Until Dawn, Uncharted 4 (could only see ll on your list)

Any point in buying a PS4 pro if I don't have a 4k tv

I have a pro and dont have a 4k TV yet, its worth it for the increased framerates and super sampling options if you dont own a ps4 already, i probably wouldnt rush out to buy one without a 4k tv if you own a ps4 already but if you dont own a ps4 then get a pro for sure

Ratchet and Clank?

All the big hitters have already been mentioned but Bloodborne and the Yakuza series are truly special games and the standouts among PS4 exclusives.

If you want things that are more typical and that have been done to death already there's always Uncharted, God of War and the lot.

I'd add Gravity Rush 1&2 to the list. Infamous: SS is also quite good.

Managed to track down a Ps4 pro yesterday, picking it up later today.

Is it possible to transfer all my games over from my day one Ps4 to a portable hard drive, log in to the Pro with my existing account plug the drive in then play my games off the portable drive?

Cant be bothered doing the slow process of using an Ethernet cable between the 2 consoles.

Cheers all

Last PlayStation I used was the PS2. How are the PS4 controllers for someone with small hands? Would like to game with my girlfriend but the Xbox ones are too bulky for her, and 3rd party controllers are mostly rubbish

It's pretty much the same except for improved triggers and a touch pad.

Yes, just move them on the old PS4 to an external HDD and then just plug it in and the new PS4 Pro will scan the HDD and add the games back to the dashboard.
