*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

LOL just as the Sony defence force was out defending PSN.....good timing :)

Sony defence force? Are you 10 years old or something? You know, some people genuinely haven't had many problems with the service. Don't try to turn this into your childish fanboy wars, especially that I haven't seen you participating in the discussion until something negative about PSN (not even related to the service itself) came up, which for whatever reason made you feel all giddy and uncomfortable in your trousers... Says quite a lot about you.

So I've just finished Hollow Knight. Incredible game. Even though it had me cursing and tearing my hair out at regular intervals, it was a fantastic experience that I'm glad to have not missed out on. (Thanks Humble Bundle or else I still would be ignoring it.) So anyway, do you guys think I will enjoy Bloodborne if I liked Hollow Knight?

Other than the difficulty I personally don't see any similarites. I miss the days of decent demos to whet your appetite. Mind you, it's so cheap to buy physically you won't lose much by trying it.

I was thinking the similarities come from a) the baddies respawn when you save and b) you lose your collectibles when you die and have to go back and get them?

Bonfires are like benches and yes collecting your 'souls' after death is similar. Some tough bosses in both but obviously so very different. Bloodborne is incredible as is Hollow Knight. Everyone should play both!

I cannot wait for Sekiro. Looking forward to that game more than anything else.

Bloodborne is one of the most amazing games I've played in terms of design and atmosphere. Just has that special something that elevates it above most typical games.

Has a special place on my favourite games list along with Yakuza, a series I grew up with, and Nier and some others.

Speaking of Yakuza, I should import Kiwami 2 already, Sotenbori looks amazing on the Dragon Engine. Or maybe I'll just play this one in English to save myself some hassle, don't know.

EDIT: As above waiting for Sekiro as well, hopefully it'll pan out great.

Oh yes I was just lumping that in under difficulty but you are right. You don't lose your weapons though, only consumables I think and the ingame currency for buying items.

Anyone here have suggestion for thumb stick grips / cover for the controller?

Thumbs are slipping while playing and requires constant adjusting

Have a look at eBay their are lots of different ones and their cheap but they can just loose their grip and come off after a while. If you wanted something that will extend the high of the sticks or just good quality grips check out kontrolFreek they have lots of different designs.

I never liked them for that reason. I've posted this before but it was why I replaced them with the elite sticks.

Thanks. I had look on kontrolfreeks as they are well reviewed but a bit pricey. Ordered cheap ones from ebay and see how they get on. Will try the expensive ones later.

How easy is it to replace the sticks? Im gguessing this will void the warranty?

Are your sticks genuine MS items or copies? Have been looking for MS ones but can't seem find any, only the latter...

Yeah they're easy to replace but yes, they would void the warranty. No, if you're careful. Mine were out of warranty at the time, so it was no issue. Controllers from 2015.

No idea, I believe they were these as they're metal. https://www.amazon.co.uk/YoRHa-Thumbsticks-Replacement-Controller-Screwdrivers/dp/B074GXYHYJ/

thanks for the guide. Ill stick with the covers for now. They seem to do the job so far.
Played god of war in a lengthy session and seen great improvement with the grip.
