*** The Official Samsung Galaxy Note II Thread ***

My point exactly. I'll take a look at the full monty. Thanks Diagro!

I have the funds available but I'm just looking for good value really... 1-2GB data is an absolute must and a text plan also. The rest is flexible.

Seems like every sim-only package has awful data allowance.

I managed to grab a 24 month () contract for the note 2 with 1.5Gb/month, unlimited texts, 600 minutes on Vodafone for £26/month and no phone charge. Total cost for phone + 2 years calls, data, texts for £620 is pretty competitive I think.

BUT thats including the ubiquitous 20% monthly discount that anyone can get on vodafone provided they know someone who works for a blue chip company.

My current sim-only contract with 3 ends in March so I called up to enquire about an early upgrade. They want £69 op front and £36 a month for The One plan!
Perhaps I'll wait and see if any better offers appear...

Bah, I can't get close to that with voda :(

Buymobilephones.net are legit, yeah :).

Free gifts aren't really free though, you'll end up paying for it over the length of the contract, if you get cashback for example you'll pay more than the cashback amount extra over the length of the contract.

I wouldn't trust their stock numbers though, they told me that they were in stock so I ordered, next day it hadn't been sent so phoned up and they said they just got it in stock and it'd be sent that day. Next day it hadn't been sent so phoned up again and they said they wouldn't be getting stock until the next week :p.

Ahh yes, I see it filters out loads of the contracts when you select a gift

Howdy,

I am looking for an upgrade for my Samsung E1080i.

Just wondering what the battery life is like on these? Also anyone using one with a blue tooth keyboard, I like the idea of this to take to lectures to take down notes etc. I will insure with protect my bubble, are they ok to use? the idea of a keyboard case like the 10.1 note would be awesome but I cannot find.

the only other good phone I had was the HTC desire HD but i lost it 3 months into my 24 month contract and been making do with this samsung since so I am keen to insure this time round!!

being about 6 times larger than my current phone (with a million times processing power and functionality) any one struggle with the size?

yours sincerely, phone newb

The battery life on the Note 2 is mad, I get an easy 2 days out of it for my usage which used to kill an iPhone in about 12. I love it its quite big but you get used to that very quickly.
