*** The Official Samsung Galaxy Note II Thread ***

Still no announcement about the Note 2 getting a 4.3 update. I'm assuming it's a strategic move as some GN2 owners may not upgrade if it receives a prompt 4.3 update.

a bit late to this, but getting my note 2 LTE tomorrow :)

Does anyone know if the LTE model will support 3's 4G network which they will roll out free in December?

Just planning ahead.

Is the Note 2 still worth getting today? Looked at a couple of youtube vids and it looks quite nice, still a fast device? Rainforest have it about £355, good price?

:)

It's still most definitely an excellent device and will continue to be excellent for some time. If you can get a good price on one then go for it.

Thanks for the info chaps.

Quick question, what's it like to browse the Web, especially these forums, whilst the screen size is excellent, the res worries me a little, will I need to zoom in constantly?

:)

Depends on the browser you use. there's always going to be some zooming needed since the forums are not mobile friendly. The resolution is not a problem. I've been browsing and posting here from the Note 2 for almost a year.

Thanks, I meant more from a clarity point of view, text sharp enough? :)
