Well i cant get anything to play with mkv2vob. Although its a 4Gb split it only plays a blank screen for 5 seconds in rock and mobo player.
Any ideas on correct settings?

Would handbrake get over all this? Thing is it takes over 2hours to encode which is pretty long and i have no idea on the best settings.

I'm looking at 32gb cards and I've seen the Patriot 32gb Class 10 card, does anyone have any opinions if it's worth the £20 premium over say a Class 4 Kingston card?

Do not get anything below a Class 6... preferably a class 10, which can be had for 20 quid at the moment. Class 2 is just too slow for a device capable of 1080p video imo. See HDUK (Google it) for good deals on stuff like this.

I think i can overcome the audio. Its getting any video via mkv2vob... Have can this be so difficult.

I thought I would have got a dispatch note today but got nothing

I have never had a Android phone before but am tempted by this (been holding off getting a fully touchscreen phone for ages but am ready to take the plunge now).
Questions:
1) Is it possible for phones such as this to have "stock" android loaded on it (easily)?
2) How do you sync data to this phone, is it just Mass storage USB device as far as a windows/mac pc/laptop is concerned?
3) How would I sync my iTunes music/playlists/album art to this device (on a mac)?
4) How easily does the screen smudge?
5) Finally, what sort of deals are available on this? I am on Orange atm, but I guess I would have to move to a different network to get the phone as they don't have this phone yet. I would just be after 300mins, 300 txts and as much data as I could get (I know most networks are now 500mb to 1gb max).

Edit: Also does it get hot? My only other experience is an iPod touch 2g, which warmed up a bit after playing Graphical games (although the metal back of that device probably played a part in this).

They're not exactly quick, it sat 'Pending' for two days. Shipping was Express Mail Service EMS, which is Parcelforce this end.
Usually 10Mb/s video + DTS audio. The problem is that scene releases often use DTS sound.
Even the original SGS can handle 1080p mkv but doesn't support DTS. A shame samsung didn't buy the license for dts on the sgs2.
