****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

Yup. Why not.

My 16GB Class 2 MicroSD card for £15 has just arrived. Turns out its a Class 4.

Will do for now until I find a Class 10 32GB :p

Nice1 Robbo, I ordered one from your link in anticipation of getting this phone soon :)

I take it's 12.5MegaBytes/sec Read (and not megabits). Just want to make sure, as that will be plenty for 720p mkv's

oh ok, any dates mooted?

that sucks, not that it will ever take off over - but bit cheeky if true

Another 3-4 weeks for MHL.

I was watching Google IO stuff last night about NFC and I don't think you are going to miss anything really. NFC payments will be a while away yet and there isnt anything on the Market that really use it yet.

Google are only just showing NFC to the Devs now!

Right, I have my first question, that I've tried to google already ;)

Just on the internet and say I want to add OCUK website as a icon so I can just go straight to it rather than go to my browser and type the URL in or use the bookmarks tab.

When I press menu > add shortcut to home - it responds with "no more room on this page".

Is this possible on Android?

I've rung T-Mobile quite a few times now regarding when the release date is as I keep getting different dates from them. Last time I called, the woman gave me £10 off my monthly bill until I get the phone (and thus renew my contract). Not bad!

Ignore me, it has added to my home pages, don't know what that message was about.

You can put the bookmark shotcut onto a home screen if you want to get to it straight away without opening browser first, thus saving a click. Just long press on an empty space then select shortcut, then bookmark and you select it from the list which it gets from the browser

EDIT: omg, ignore, it's the same thing!

You guys are going to hate me :D

Free phone
Orange Panther £35 24 months

40% retailer discount, makes that £21 x24 months = £504
3 months line rental redemption from Mobiles = £105

£504 - £105 = £399

Less £40 from TopCashBack, £369 for the phone and contract, LOL!

I went with the Official Samsung Galaxy 2 case and love it. :)
Thought i'd splash out a bit (£8). You certainly get what you pay for. A great case. Much better than the £3 jobby i had on my SGS.

The top looks way too exposed... one drop and it would be scuffed to hell and back.

You'd have to be damn unlucky to scratch it. It really has to be pretty perfect drop to get it at the right angle to scratch it. Top and bottom are a bit exposed but so is the whole screen. Feels great in hand, you don't even notice its there and you can still use the buttons easily unlike my old SGS case.
Its probably been designed to fit with other accessories too. One thing i hate on my SGS is having to keep removing the case
