Out of curiosity, and yes I've searched google 
I bought some games on game hub on the old faulty phone, will the new phone recognise this and allow me the full game this time round? Reason I'm doubting it is because these aren't on the market place so it wasn't restored when I signed in using my google account..

Well, got htis phone last night. I was a bit of an Iphone fanboy before. But I'm genuinely shocked at how good this is on Android. Theres nothing I miss from the 3GS so far.
I actually like the fact that it takes ages to get it exactly how I want and the customisation is a little mind blowing. Internet browsing is great with the size of the screen although I'm going to look for another browser.
Just downloaded Widgetlocker and currently trying to get my screen to look something like Khaaan's although I'm struggling with the minimalist text options & setting.

I've managed to get it for free at £35/month over 24 months. 300 mins, unl. texts and 500mb internet. Upgrading through Vodafone from a contract that expires in July!

Just cancelled my order with o2 as they/dhl have lost my phone and it's going to be at least a week before I can get a new one sent out to me. Really shoddy stuff. Got about a week now to find a new phone before my T-Mobile contract ends on my current phone. Good times.

So in preparation for mine arriving tomorrow, I've spent the last hour trying (and failing) to get Titanium Backup to work on my Desire, arggg!!
It's rooted (as far as I can tell), but TB keeps saying that root isn't allowed, even when it is in the SuperUser app :/
