****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

Actually 4th screen is centre (default) assuming you have a 7 screen setup. I highly recommend launcherpo. The dock is more versatile. you can remove labels, its smooth. Has a nice 3D apps drawer. Plus yuou can set the number of icons in rows and columns, in my case I have a 4 by 5 as you can see in bottom of 2 pictures.

The only thing I like about touchwizz over LP is the apps drawer because it is slightly transparent. Unless there is an option i've missed?

From the home screen, hit menu key, edit and then long press on the screen you want as default, drag it into the middle

Hmmm, I've done that, but when I press the home button it shoots all the way to the left which currently has nothing on it.

My wallpaper is an picture of an eye which is in the centre so I'd like the home screen to stay centered on it, and the scroll either left or right across the picture from there.

Well then I think all I did was move the left most wallpaper to the middle?

The window top right is default

Edit-ok scratch that, I have no idea how I did it, once I moved the screens around I couldn't work out how to change the default again!

Sorry if its already been posted but have only been dipping in and out the thread. Had the phone for a week but can't for the life of me work out how to set up wifi hotspot? On my old Desire it was a simple press of an icon. Have o2 removed it? If so can I get it back by flashing the generic rom onto my phone?

Cheers

Go to wireless and networks under settings and then scroll down. Should be a menu for portable and wireless hotspots. No icon for some reason!

Hey has anyone got one of these case-mate cases yet:

Liking the look of this or their tough case version but is the finish on this like a rubbery feel as I love those kinds of cases as it stops me dropping the damn thing lol!!![/url]

I have one. A very solid case which fits nicely. It comes with a screen protector but I didn't bother using don't know if I should really as the glass is meant to be strong.

It isn't invincible, i've learnt that the hard way.

Managed to get a small chip in the glass, has been the only thing in its pocket at all times, don't have a clue how it happened.

How do you change the stock lockscreen wallpaper, and customise it? (Without using any 3rd party app like widgetlocker?)

Also does anyone know how to delete all the Samsung rubbish on there, and which bits are ok to delete (like the hubs etc..)
