Zenus Prestige Carbon Case

Link to where I bought from Here

Using the faster 7 Euro Delivery, order was placed late Sunday night and arrived today, tho in tracking (via their site), it said waiting to send for a couple of days, I'm thinking their site just doesn't update that fast. Delivery was in very good condition, ya would think it was sent local. Their are cheaper options, and more expensive ones, that was kinda in the middle.

In the box it seems to come with a decent screen protector for the SGS2, wasnt expecting this or I didnt read about it, will apply it later if anyone wants to know how it is, but wasnt planning on putting a protector on.

The case feels good in the hand with the carbon texture giving a nice feel to the case, the materials are quality, well trimmed off, no stray threads, no corner looks rushed or unfinished. No creases/ wrinkles around the corners. Lining looks nice and well trimmed off.

In the hand it doesnt feel likes its added that much bulk, tho obviously it does, the sheer lightness of the phone will make any case still feel light in the hand.

Theirs no "locking" for the flap/ cover, more of a gripped lip that pushes over the top when you fasten it, tho shaking it about, the case feels solid to the phone. No loose points on mine, theirs a tiny bit of movement on the flap, but ya have to purposly move it to notice. No creaks or wobbly bits, the the flap sits about 2 mm away from the screen while closed, im pretty sure this is down to the little bulge (which the back of teh case is shaped to take) shape of the phone.

And the pics tell the rest., very much recommended.

Sorry if thats all a little OTT for a case, but its a more expensive case so thought people would wanna see it as best as possible. Plus if its the one thing I can help with in here after all the kacking noob questions I ask ya lol.

They seem to be sending these out with their cases, got one a well. I'm using it till the Martin Fields arrive, fits very well. No bubbles, very good quality but has a matt finish I'm not keen on.

i don't get the whole screen protector stuff, it always looks shabby, they spend ages making and designing the glass on these, plus android phones don't have a great resell value, i fail to see the point. im a sleeve man and get my phone out when its needed, its almost an insult to stick protectors and bumper cases on, i can appreciate a nice case, but like the girl in my office who has a huge case and screen protector on an iphone - it looks pants, all peeling away at the sides and i swear it makes the phone less responsive

+ is this supposed to be gorilla glass on our beasts?

Can someone please put me out of my misery and tell me how I make a phone call to a number that's not in my address book? I've spent the last 20 mins trying to figure it out... Clicking Phone just brings up the contacts menu. All I want is a number pad and a call button. :( I feel like I've spent £500 on a phone that doesn't have phone functionality...

Menu > Phone

If you can't see the keypad, press keypad at the top.

Yet more idiocy... How do I get handcent to take over messaging completely from the stock? I've disabled all the checkboxes but the message count still appears over "messaging"?

Sorry for all these inane questions. I've upgraded from a K810i so this is all alien to me. I'm only normally happy with a basic phone or a unix shell... :(

EDIT: Seems I need to use the 1x1 widget, not the icon, but messaging is still down there and showing notifications, despite me disabling them...

Auto retrive and notifications off on the default messenger... tried sending a msg to a contact and setting handcent to default, and I still get notifications for both...

Has anyone worked around this? :(

No option to delete defaults as per many online google results..
