****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

Ok guys I tried out the gripmount car holder (as seen here: www.snappyurl.com/x2bw1y ), and I know I said I would give it a serious grilling, however it failed almost straight away. It didn't even fit my car with the phone in it - the site shows pictures of it mounted to a wind shield with the samsung phone in it, how on earth they did that I have no idea, the only way it would fit like in those pictures would be to have it facing down a fair bit.... Considering I will not be mounting to the dash it failed simply on that, so I won't be using it.

Instead I went to Halfords, and bought this: www.snappyurl.com/bf5n17 works great! Love it, rotates just fine and holds any phone securely no matter the size, very much recommend this one - should have done this before, I had one from them for a smaller phone a while back and loved it, so there ya go...

I've ordered this case which is for the sensation. That HTC label will be removed ;) £8 from play (preorder).

should fit the sgs2 fine.

I don't know how people can put up with buying cases that you need to physically take the phone out of in order to use... would drive me mad.

I like the fact that my phone/screen is protected when it is in my pocket but I can keep the actual phone caseless so that it feels better in my hand when using it.

Wrap around cases look ugly and add bulk when using the phone IMO. Slip case is just for protection in the pocket.

I think several cases in this thread have proved from pics posted that they neither add much bulk (to an already ridiculously thin phone), or look ugly. To have to physically take a phone out of a pouch to answer a call seems a fiddle too far imo. :)

Well using the Official mesh case I managed to drop my phone on laminate flooring today. I placed it on my chair's headrest face down and it must have slipped off.

Anyway, absolutely no damage/scuffs and the case didn't fly off either and the phone bounced as well!.

Hmm why would you want to cary your phone together with your credit cards? What's wrong with a wallet

[rant]... plastic generation...[/rant]

EDIT:

hmmm where can I buy one?

how much is that: 52,000원 ?
