Only problem is looking on the terms on mobile.co.uk they say the pre order price can change before release but you will be notified...

So basically all the pre order prices arent worth even looking at really ? or are these are 99% more than likely to be correct?
 
Having a quick look on Google news about the phone and there was a mass of new news regarding the release being released early May, but on checking out all the reports it seems they have all gone off the Clove shop eta, so fingers crossed it's only a rough estimate again and not final, as I'd very much like to have this in April!

Unfortunately, SGS2 launch has been delayed globally and that has shifted the launch date of SGS2 for a month at least.

Then another bomb:

Due to delay in the global launch of SGS2 the device won't be launched before June. And, its not just India but its delayed all over.

My upgrade is due now on my Vodafone contract, wondering if I should wait on this or go with a LG Optimus 2x now?

Only thing I think I'll miss from the N900 that doesnt have an Android equivalent wouldbe the root access supported by default, and the FM radio transmitter, but it seems no Android phones come with that. :(

Wait, I wouldn't get the Optimus 2X as a long term phone.

The people buying it now are only doing so because they are bored and want to fiddle with a dual core phone.
 
Might be able to 'test' an Atrix shortly :D

Can't see it been long term but will be a nice stop gap before getting an SGS2 later in the year.
 
You could not be further from the truth :p

A friend has one coming through and isn't entirely convinced so I *may* be able to test for a few months. I might cut my 24 month contract nearer the end of the year as I won't have to pay much more than £100 to cancel my contract at which point I will hopefully get a SGS2 etc [by then my salary shouldn't be as laughable as it is now :p].

This is getting beyond a joke now. WTF are Samsung playing at? My contract expired in January, and I've not gotten anything else specifically because I've been waiting for this mobile to arrive.
