I also get the stuttering in the iPlayer app and in the browser iPlayer.

Also, the audio is mostly out of sync too especially when jumping forward. I thought the latest version of flash helped but it was just a one time lucky audio sync.

So yeah, iPlayer is unusable for me.

Channel 5's 5OD is flawless so there is hope that the BBC will eventually figure out a fix for it.
 
I only got round to using the phone as a music player on my commute today....

on the way the battery was down below 10% and the music kept cutting out, I'd look at the phone and it looked like it had restarted. as in there was no signal and there was that message about reading media or whatever. I put it down to it being low battery.

On the way home the battery level was in the high 90s percentage. it still restarted the same, but only happened once....and after a long time.

anyone else had this, concerned it might need to go back!
 
A strange low power problem happened with my GS2 today as well.

The brightness lowered by itself and the brightness option in settings was disabled. I had only just fitted a mirror screen protector so I figured it was because the mirror screen protector was covering the light sensor but it's back to normal now that I've charged it.

It's like the phone went into a low power mode yet I have all the power saving options disabled. :confused:

I've only had this replacement GS2 for a couple of days and my old one didn't have this problem so I'm thinking it could be a problem with the KE7 firmware as it's the only thing different.
 
Been playing around with widgetlocker and the live wallpapers linked around further up the page, I like this so far :D

This is the only thing really annoying me at the moment, youtube and 5OD are fine but iPlayer just isn't usable. Hurry up and fix it BBC/Adobe/whoever!

So, I get my SGS II otmmorrow, what are the first things you reccommend I do with it? I was thinking:

  1. Update to KE7 right away.
  2. Do a hard reset and wipe to make it 1000% anally-retentive fresh
  3. Root
  4. Profit?

I would guess it will come already with KE7.

I had to wait an extra week for mine from mobiles.uk, because they had to

send a shipment back due to faulty software.

Mine arrived on Tuesday with KE7 already done.

If you don't do anything with it from stock then the reset is unnecessary tbh. Maybe check and set the CSC which will reset the phone just like a factory reset. But root yeah, then backup the entire /efs folder. Then install chainfire3D (try a few Tegra games!). After that remove the Hub bloatware.
