The lock screen stays put and looks fine. Touch Wiz also seems fine in its homescreen, just LauncherPro seems to zoom in slightly and the backdrop looks naff then.

As with all android phones its 2*the width x the height. So in SG2's case, its 960x800
 
Settings -> Sound -> Phone ringtone (for the general one)

Or view a contacts details are at the bottom should be "Default Ringtone" for contact specific ringtones, both should allow you to select mp3's (does for me at least)
 
Holy poo the battery on this is impressive... ive been abusing it since 16:30pm with only a couple of short USB charges and it's still at 40%... that is with tons of screen action and almost constant fiddling around with. My Milestone would have died hours ago.

Power stats are:

Display: 57%
Android System: 11%
Android OS: 9%
Voice calls: 5%
Screeb; Pro: 3%

I. *******. Love. This. Phone.
 
You don't even need to touch the res :p Android allows cropping to native res anyway, just make sure walls are larger than the above dimensions and all is fine.

i cant really send it back now, as o2 semmed to think i did not have it.. i would open a can of worms, wrongly or rightly they messed me about and im not gotta go down that road.

so i have one working s2 and one locked. from what i can see im not gonna be able to get it unblocked. does not seem possible. guess i will keep for spares. if anyone finds away to unblock it let me know and you will be rewarded via paypal :D
 
^ It was them that told me that I had failed a credit check for t-mobile when one hadn't even been made.

On hotukdeals someone said that this had happened to them and when he spoke to t-mobile they had been getting a lot of calls regarding affordable mobiles!

I have now placed an order for this phone with tmobile via a different site and it has gone through without issue!

Well had the phone on charge to get it to 100% and have spent most of the evening downloading all the software and firmware etc to debrand, root and if necessary unlock it. I just went through the debranding tutorial and it worked like a charm :)

So tomorrow I will test if this is unlocked and then root and unlock it. I am soo loving this phone and can't wait till I have it all sorted so I can start customizing it!!!
