****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

I wouldn't take it that far dude... I'm still getting it. It's a shame Samsung didn't have the balls to lose the front logo like apple do.

So what are you getting instead of the SGS2 then snapdragon :p

Apple don't need their logo on it, their devices are instantly recognisable. Samsung don't enjoy such a luxury; it'd be in danger of looking like a cheap, generic device without a logo on.

Who are people pre-odering this with? It's been a while since I pre-orderd a phone so who's a good retailer that will have it on my door as soon as it's out? Play, ******?

Are the prices I've heard (around £550) accurate?

Really want this as I love my current SGS and would hate the feeling of knowing their is a better model but I am a student and my contract lasts a year longer so couldn't afford this :(

Or alternatively how much would I likely make from selling my SGS?

Really liking the look of this, and my contract is up for renewal soon too so it could be good timing. Just hope it's not mega expensive.

I can't decide whether to stay with Orange and get this as an upgrade or move to Vodafone, Orange seem to have very unreliable net and call signal recently.

i'm the same. i think i'll go with voda or o2 if they offer a a good enough deal for the handset i want. i guess this'll be the one if it's due soon as turns out my contract ended in feb

Quick question, Would you take this phone over the iphone 4? Vodafone just called me and offered me a good deal on a 16gb iphone 4.

600 mins
250 texts
Unlimited landline calls
Unlimited Voda 2 Voda calls
1GB iPhone data
1GB wifi
iPhone 4 16GB free of charge

for £30 a month. Ain't tried to push them for extra yet either.

(I never go over 200 text a month as I have a works phone)
