hmmm, whenever i try and send an email with an attachment (has always been photos so far), it just get stuck in the outbox, the phone then gets really hot and the battery dies......any ideas? the only way ive fixed it so far is to remove the account and re-add it, as pressing delete doesnt work!!!!

both on ke3 and ke7, stock samsung email app, exchange 2010.

is that with data disabled? what about gps anyone know if that's is required for this to work? atm i leave gps on and data off usually however i can't say what my partner will end up doing with gps so if it gets lost i'd like to know how well it can be tracked. atm it's failing miserably for me :(
 
also, i have updated to ke7 as per earlier in the thread, my wifi is still shocking:

SGS2 on left, Desire on the right, same access point, both on my desk infront of me. Any ideas?

Also, whats a good adblock software? I've installed adfree but it hasn't worked, my desire as you can see has blocked it by default with whatever is installed with leedroid.

Works fine with GPS diabled and DATA disabled but with WiFi connected. Obviously it won't work with wifi and data disabled.

If you have GPS disabled then Dive will wirelessly turn GPS on. I observed this just know and thought it was a cool feature. I don't know of any other service that does this.

I'll update again when I am home but at work with the Linksys WAP2000 wireless access point sitting on my desk with me sat here it's:

OK, taken the plunge. Was swaying towards the Sensation, but after having a go on the SG2 I've just upgraded with Three and my phone will be here on Tuesday.

It was the screen that finally tipped it, its simply amazing. After a year with a Desire, a 4.3" screen is going to look massive to me.
 
khaaan the main thing is to compare it to the desire's performance at the same distance! it's shockingly bad, my laptop, htc desire, htc wildfire and even orange san francisco all on my desk atm are perfectly fine at my desk about 40 feet and a floor below the wifi access point, but the SGS2 is bad!
 
I'll compare to the Desire at home but I have had no speed issues at home anyway, speedtest.net tops out at 16-18Mbps from upstairs when router is downstairs.
 
Bah, I just rang T-Mobile. They received 300 x S2's this morning and they were all sent out this morning. Next delivery is 9th and/or 10th june, but maybe early on the 8th. They've made a note to send me when they get them in, but there's no priority listing, it's first come first serve. No shops have them either, not even the flagship oxford street shops. Looks like much higher demand than supply.
