The battery on this just keeps getting better, I've been using it pretty heavily all day and I've only lost 16% of the battery. That includes about 8 minutes of 1080p video and 40+ pictures! Amazing

That's really good news! It'll be great to finally have a phone that holds charge. My phone has always been terrible, dying in less than a day, and that's mostly on idle. And now it doesn't really hold a charge anymore, dies in a few minutes, have to be connected to usb or car charger to keep it going.

I am 99% certain of joining your esteemed ranks on Monday. Having sold my iphone 4 and taken the sgs 2 as an upgrade, I will wait for (delivery of sgs2) WWDC to see if the phone is a keeper or if Apple come out with something astonishing for IOS5.

The SGS2 will be orange branded, has anyone done the insecure kernel clean up procedure on an orange branded phone or is it just the o2 ones?

I did notice it straight away on my mates sgs2. Hopefully, Samsung can correct this and then I will get the cc out.

I have not detected a yellow tint and I have no intention of checking for it - if I can't see it with my naked eye, I don't give a flying monkey poop

It must be more potent than normal on his one then because there is no way in hell you would see it unless you knew it was there and spend ages farting about trying to find it.

Seems the same as the Desire really. The Desire is running Modaco ROM btw so no Wireless N else it would be neck and neck I imagine.

How far from the router are those phones sat, as its not up close where I've had issues its when you put any distance or anything between you and the router

Router is in the living room, I am sat at the PC upstairs. Performance is the same throughout the house as the router is smack in the middle of the house where its located but the house isn't exactly small either though!

I believe it's a v1/1.1 although I've never checked as far as I can remember, I just update it via the built in checker.
