They do, the article reads "the fastest selling device it has ever sold". It ofcourse, refering to Samsung.

Not as good as my deal.

Fortunately my nephew works for T-Mob, so I get employee call tariff which is half price. I'm being upgraded from flex 25 (300 minutes) to flex 35 which is compulsory for this phone. It will cost me £2.50 more on upgrade but for x3 the amount of free calls.

£180 allowance (900 minutes)

All premium rate numbers included in allowance

Web n walk included

£17.50 pm.

then got a Desire S same talk time etc... but 12.50 a month

Sent that back

Rung orange today to cancel my contract ( due to end 18th of this month)

Unless they give me the Galaxy 2 for the same £12.50

Is there a way to make this phone go in USB mass storage mode, rather than phone/pda mode with the mtp app ?

I want to use it as an usb stick in my car and seek with my HU...

settings > wireless and network > USB utilities....bizarre place for it!

Thanks tom, would you perhaps know if my phone & headunit support streaming audio over bluetooth, I saw my mate on youtube on his iphone and his sony HU would pick up the audio from the vids and play it through the car speakers, is that possible with the SGS2 + Pioneer DEH6200-BT ( parrot thing built in) ?

I got handsfree calling working fine, but I can't figure out how to config spotify or the browser to output audio over bluetooth to my HU...

Do you really need to ask that? Surely you must know that you have a fantastic deal there, you are essential paying half of what most of us are for similar packages...

There is another thread dedicated to cases/accessories, but the official Samsung case is a good start.

Heh, well, I could threaten them, but considering I've had half priced tariff for years with T-Mob, and considering I'll get 15 hours free talktime including premium rate numbers (my flex 25 counts premium rate numbers as not included in allowance and only gives me 5 hours talktime) and web n walk, all for £2 more, I'm very happy with that deal and I'd be paying much more to get the same if I left T-Mob.

Orange must think I'm a mug, they want me to pay £60(should by £99 but this is a discount apparently :rolleyes:

) to upgrade to the S2 on my £30pm contract.

Time to fight them from my PAC code I think.

Where's the best place to buy from, as I'm obviously not going to do that.

I'm having wi-fi trouble over the last couple of days. It keeps disconnecting from my Virgin superhub and then it's unobtainable until I restart the router. However my PC and the house's laptops have no problem at all. Any one else getting this?

Also, whats a good adblock software? I've installed adfree but it hasn't worked, my desire as you can see has blocked it by default with whatever is installed with leedroid.

Have the same issue with wifi the range is simply shockingly bad. I'm going to setup a second router over the weekend to get decent coverage in my house where I have no issues with laptops, ipads or iphones...

The battery on this just keeps getting better, I've been using it pretty heavily all day and I've only lost 16% of the battery. That includes about 8 minutes of 1080p video and 40+ pictures! Amazing :cool:

Glad to see the battery is increasing on my Samsung, I was worried when I first got it! Seems to have a better battery life than my Nokia 5800 which is good.

Can anyone recommend me a good music player for it? I've got Winamp because that's what I've been using on my desktop forever but it doesn't have any options to alter the bass or any other settings, it's too simple for my liking.

The player would need to be compatible with my M3U playlists which I created on my Nokia 5800 & desktop computer.

I use PowerAmp, that should do everything you need but it isn't free.
