Wow voda have added a picture to the coming soon page maybe they will post a due date:p
I believe it to be the 1st of next month but they still should have a date posted very poor show from Voda very poor.
 
that's it. i'm ordering this phone. what's the best deal? is it the one on tmobile for appox £30 per month for 18 months from buymobilephones.net? i'll need to cancel with orange but i need to keep my number for work. what do i need to do to ensure i can keep it? finally just to double check my payment date is 3rd for orange. so if i cancel contract before then will i still have to pay another month with them as i understand it's a rolling 30 day contract? seems silly if i have to pay for a month which i can't use as how else would someone cancel with them?

also any reccommendations on stands and car holders? would it be best to wait until it's been a while for decent 3d party ones?
 
Midway through ordering through mobiles.co.uk. If I order with a company such as this, rather than direct through the network, who do I go to when it's time to upgrade again?

When did you place this order? I ordered my upgrade with mobiles.co.uk on the orange upgrade on the 10th of april. Just wondering if your infront of me in the pre-ordering que ;)

Went with £29.99 for the phone (but £50 cashback through Quidco), £30 a month, 300 mins, unlimited texts, 500mb data.

I know it's not the best deal around, but I couldn't stay with T-Mobile. I'm with them currently, and didn't want to lose my number. 300 mins is plenty for me, so I'm happy :)
 
If it puts anyones mind at ease ordering from P4U it's unbranded and unlocked. Just tried it with my old Three sim and it worked fine.

Lightning fast, but then i'm upgrading from a Bold 9000, so i would expect it to be faster!
 
Did you get it in-store Streeteh or was it delivered earlier on?

They said some in-store handsets are unlocked but they try and provide locked ones online.

Good stuff though bud :D
 
Kinda hoping this thread would be a bit more lively now a few people have managed to receive their SGS2.

Hope I receive mine next week from Jersey, but haven't a clue about what stock levels are going to be like.
 
How do people rate orange as a network?

Currently with 3 but due to lack of signal at work now (used to use orange signal) i am switiching.

Looking at my options, O2 and Voda have horrible 3g network coverage around my area so that doesnt really tempt me. Left with really either Tmobile or Orange. Is one better than the other?
 
I prefer T-Mobile over Orange (even though they are the same company, a lot of stuff differs), both are fairly decent though.
 
Any idea if phones from either mobiles.co.uk or Phones4U are branded / unlocked. Unlocked part doesnt matter but branding is annoying. I assume it can be fixed easily with a firmware flash tho?
