****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

Just got my PAC from O2 moments ago - I might call them and see if they can match the £30 option for T-Mobile on BuyMobilePhones.net!:p

So decided to do an upgrade through Mobiles.co.uk on o2 instead of transferring to T-Mobile.

18 Months 1200mins and unlimited texts, 500MB of internet for £52/mth, but 7 months are half price. Total price is £704 with the 7 months half price including Quidco discount.

Going to claim on the insurance for my Desire (it is in fact damaged, see the Desire thread) and maybe sell the new one for £200.

Has anyone got theirs from Mobiles.co.uk yet?

Kinda hoping this thread would be a bit more lively now a few people have managed to receive their SGS2.

Hope I receive mine next week from Jersey, but haven't a clue about what stock levels are going to be like.

When did you put your order in from Jersey?

^ Its not too far off a single core Atom for raw power.... (esp in a low power state)

Whats the plastic "creak" like?

Just (tentatively for obvious reasons) tried to flex the phone. Not a single creak out of it.

The phone itself is very solid, it's just the back cover which isn't but that's merely something to stop the battery falling out, it's not part of the 'frame' of the phone.

I'm shocked at how well this handles flash. It plays iplayer smoother than my old netbook.

Indeed, it should run it on par with a laptop more or less. My old Desire actually crashes on many flash websites and the Desire HD is far from smooth.

There isn't much wrong with the build of it from what I can gather, its just designed to be light, that doesn't mean its badly made.
