****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

I'm fairly confident T-Mobile will have the SGS2 available very soon.

I gave T-mobile a second call, as well as Orange and they both confirmed they wouldn't get it till 1st week of June. I'm confused as to why the big operators can't get these phones in when they are released, unless they are not being truthful to me.

They lock'em, brand'em and add all of their own pointless apps to them. Takes time to ruin a phone yknow :p

These have now arrived over here... but a mate is selling me his old SGS in pristine condition for 140 quid, so I reckon im going to get that instead and then get an SGS II when they come down in price and sell the SGS for the same price. I'll drool over his SGS II in the meantime.

he said they spelt it with an 'e'.

It spells correctly with an e and an i. Jesus.

Argh, just spoken with T-Mobile, and they've offered me the Desire S for £22 a month, 18 month contract, 500 mins, unlimited texts, 500mb internet...what do I do!?!

Been on phone to P4U. S II 'out of stock'. P4U receiving stock Friday. Was told should not be later than Tuesday

Yep, P4U are officially out of stock for all online orders. They said they are 'unable to confirm' when more stock is due in.

The upside to this is that while I have to wait a bit, I'll be able to get it from Mobiles.co.uk who aren't a completely retarded company and know what they are doing :)

I'll leave my order in for the time being though.

is buymobilephones.net a reputable website ?

They got a good deal on the SGSII !!

Yes it is decent.

I'd lump out the extra cash for a SGSII over the Desire S any day.

Also, that's not a particularly good deal for the Desire S, you can wangle it for around £16/month if you're willing to do cashback.

Really? Where have you seen that?! Could tempt me :)

But yup, I'm leaning towards the SGS.

Thanks Robbo

Might go for this:

Orange Panther 45 inc. Internet
900 cross-network mins + Unlimited texts + 750MB of Mobile Internet Browsing + 50 Photo Messages • 18 months

£25 Automatic Cash Back
Effective Cost £43.61 a month

Can get £30.30 cashback as well via topcashback :D

As I said, 'dispatch', they have spelt it 'despatch' (thought that was clear from my post).

I won't comment on you making a mistake though

Good show of restraint sir, and a smart plan to save some £'s.
