Are you making sure Kies isn't running (check task manager) when flashing via Odin?

And mrk, i can seem to find keyboard.apk (or anything similar). Is it located outside the app folder or call something else?

flash it with odin, job done. The your free to flash whatever you want via cwm (included with the rom)

mrk I think you have this ROM and is what you had in mind, to just download it and flash it, couldn't get my head around that though as i tried with others roms getting them through ROM manager. Noob tatic?

Hydrog3n-ics 10.04 has taken a real toll on battery life, and I can't get my gps to work properly (also tried the method which mrk linked to). The black and blue theme for it by el liberator is really nice though.

Tried the XWLP7 rom too, apps keep randomly crashing and the volume buttons are randomly being pressed. Going to go back to XWLP3 or DXLP7 as they worked fine for me before.

Anyone else find it utterly ridiculous that after 5+ months of ICS being "out" we still dont have a proper fully working version for our phone?
Kind of going off Sammy...:mad:
 
Vodafone update for ICS should be out tomorrow both via Kies and OTA. Fingers crossed it all goes well...

Such a shame MHL only works on official releases, im so tempted to try all these different ROMs but i use MHL a fair bit boo hoo
 
Good deal on the Tesco Phone Shop atm on the S2.

£25 a month (24 month contract & £50 for the handset)

750mins, 5000 texts. 500mb data (£2.50 a month extra for 1GB) EDIT - No cashback on Tesco Mobile Contracts..

My contract with o2 ends on May 23rd, so I might aswell wait to see if the Galaxy S3 drops the S2 pricing :p

The latest version has had a detrimental affect on my battery too, but hopefully it will be solved soon.
 
I've not seen too much of a hit on the latest. Don't think any of the changes affected me anyway though so I might flash back to an older version (08)
